The Crime Reduction Institute is a thought leader in community policing, community engagement, evidence-based practices, and long-term crime reduction strategies. CRI understands that crime reduction is an ongoing process that requires commitments from community members and law enforcement, and when one side fails, crime will rise.
One primary key to reducing crime is understanding the foundation of nature and nature's laws. All people long for safe communities, to pursue happiness, and live a life of freedom bathed in liberty. Peaceful societies can be achieved through community leaders learning the CRI core leadership principles, built around public virtue or the golden rule "do unto others as they would do unto you." These core principles start with understanding and appreciating our national heritage despite its faults, embracing the servant's heart, learning the power of mentorship, and independent learning, building an abundance mentality, fostering greatness, and assuming personal responsibility and accountability.
CRI was founded by John Gabrielson and his partner Andrew Samarripa in September of 2022 after years of law enforcement, youth ministry, coaching, and teaching in the community. CRI is dedicated to being forward-focused, producing the best training possible, and meeting the daily challenges law enforcement, security professionals, managers, and executives face. Each training course is current and relevant for today's fast-paced world. CRI offers courses in de-escalation, emergency preparedness, personal safety, crime reduction strategies, and crime prevention.
CRI consultants and trainers provide customized services to ensure your police department, company, neighborhood, or housing complex takes every measure to reduce risk and liability. CRI will ensure your physical security plan is solid for long-term sustainability. CRI dedicates itself to integrity and teamwork, leading to long-term success.
